Our leathers are carefully chosen to create beautiful, durable and sustainably sourced products. We use full grain, vegetable tanned leather from Tuscany in Italy. The beauty of this leather (the best we could find) is the way it not only looks and feels when new – but how it just ages with style.

Your wallet is designed to last for many years (see our 5 year guarantee) but like all of us, needs a little TLC. Vegetable tanned leathers, with the right usage and care, have the ability to “heal” scratches and discolourations, which is something chromed leather usually cannot do. Vegetable tanned leathers are unsurprisingly not at their best when exposed to excessive moisture or water. It’s been known for our wallets to end up in the washing machine and survive! Once might just be ok, but twice ...
Overpacking your wallet with cards and notes is the single biggest cause of stitching failure. Try and use one card per card slot and limited folded notes for extended wallet life.
Keep the wallet dry and avoid contact with water and other liquids. Every so often gently wipe marks, lint and dust using a damp cloth.
Conditioning nourishes the leather if it becomes too dry or cracked or has become over exposed to water. We use Renupur Leather Balsam.
Note: Conditioners with high wax content will darken the leather, so take care in its application. Darkening however, should be temporary as the oils penetrate the leather.
